President Droupadi Murmu reached Dehradun on a three-day visit
President Droupadi Murmu has reached Dehradun today as part of a three-day visit. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and the Governor welcomed her at Jolly Grant Airport. After which the President left for Dehradun by road. Due to her program, the airport was on alert.
Before the arrival of the President, the security inside and outside the airport was tightened further. The police were alert in the areas adjoining the airport, hotels, banks and other places.
Rashtrapati Aashiyana located on Rajpur Road will open to the general public from the month of June. President Draupadi Murmu will formally inaugurate it tomorrow on June 20. The Presidential Aashiyana complex has a state-of-the-art park in an area of 132 acres, and a lower estate on 19.5 acres of land.
President Droupadi Murmu is going to give a big gift to Uttarakhand. Presidential Aashiyana located in Dehradun will be opened to the general public for the first time. Dehradun will get a green space from the ultramodern park being built in the Ashiana complex. The entire city and the common people will benefit from this in the long run.
