The maximum temperature of Doon on June 10, was 39.1 degrees with an increase of four degrees from normal. This was the highest temperature recorded this season. The minimum night temperature was also recorded at 25.7 degrees with an increase of 2.5 degrees from normal. Due to this, hot winds troubled at night as well. Similar situation was seen in other areas of the state as well.

According to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Center, a yellow alert for light rain has been issued in some parts of Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Bageshwar, Almora, Champawat, Nainital, Pithoragarh districts including Dehradun on June 11. While winds are expected to blow at a speed of 40 kilometers per hour in the plains. Talking about the coming days, there is a possibility of light rain and strong winds across the state till June 16.
