Yellow alert for rain in four districts including Dehradun today
A yellow alert for rain has been issued for Doon, Tehri, Nainital and Champawat districts on Thursday (July 3) as well. There is a possibility of heavy rain with lightning in these districts.
According to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Department, several rounds of rain can be seen in most parts of the four districts with yellow alert. According to meteorologist Rohit Thapliyal, the rain will continue for the next five days. Intense showers can also be seen in some mountainous areas.
Sun came out after light rains in Doon, mercury rose by 2.5 degrees
In the capital on Wednesday, after light rain, the sun came out and the maximum temperature increased by 2.5 and the minimum temperature by 1.1 degrees. At the same time, there is a possibility of several rounds of rain in the coming days.
According to meteorologist Rohit Thapliyal, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Dehradun for the next five days. On Thursday also, several rounds of rain with thunder can be seen in Doon. In such a situation, the maximum temperature is expected to fall by 1.4 degrees.
