Ranbir-Deepika starrer ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ to be re-released on this day in 2025
Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ is all set to hit the theatres again on January 3, 2025. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film was produced under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and also stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Kalki Koechlin. The film was originally released on May 31, 2013.
According to a press release, ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’, which had a stellar run at the box office in 2013, will be released on January 3 in 140 PVR INOX theatres across 46 cities. “‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ is a perfect start to the new year and is a special one for Dharma Productions. It is a story that touches all generations,” Johar said in a statement.
Mukherji said, “More than a decade later, I can still confidently say that making it was one of the greatest joys of my life.” Niharika Bijli, Chief Strategist, PVR Inox Ltd, said, “Ayan Mukherjee’s brilliant story has created a great atmosphere, which will make this film attract you to watch again and again. It has all the emotions. We are excited to bring this film back on the big screen and are eagerly waiting for the audience’s response. ” This film shows the story of four friends – Bunny (Ranbir Kapoor), Naina (Deepika Padukone), Avi (Aditya Roy Kapoor) and Aditi (Kalki Koechlin).
