‘Saiyaara’ becomes the first Bollywood song to enter Spotify global top-50

Yash Raj Films’ film ‘Saiyaara’ is tasting success at the box office and music charts around the world. The title song of the film has now reached the 5th position in the Spotify Global Top 50 Chart. With this, it has become the first Bollywood song to be included in the Spotify Top 50 Global Chart.

The title track of Saiyaara has reached the top 5 in Spotify’s Top 50 Global Chart, beating songs like Billie Eilish and Lady Gaga. Yash Raj Films has shared a screenshot of Spotify’s global chart on their Instagram story, which musician Tanishk has tagged them. In this screenshot, it can be seen that the title song of Saiyaara has now joined Spotify’s Top 5 Global Chart.

This is a big achievement for a Bollywood song as the title song of Saiyaara has become the first Bollywood song to achieve this feat, although Indian songs like Hanumankind’s ‘Big Dogs’ are also included in this list.

The title track of Saiyaara has surpassed Tyler’s Big Po, Somber’s Back to Friends, Justin Bieber’s Daisies, Alex Warren’s Ordinary, Tyler’s Sugar on My Tongue and Blackpink’s Jump. It has also surpassed songs by Billie Eilish (Birds of a Feather), Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars (Die with a Smile), Sabrina Carpenter (Manchild) and others on the charts.

The album features vocals and musicians such as Tanishk Bagchi, Fahim-Arsalan, Jubin Nautiyal, Shilpa Rao, Vishal Mishra, Arijit Singh, Sachet-Parampara, Shreya Ghoshal and Mithoon. All six tracks from the film are currently dominating the Spotify India Top 50, with the title track remaining at number 1 for 5 consecutive days.
