Devotees influx increases in Haridwar ahead of Ganga Dussehra

Crowds of pilgrims have started gathering in Haridwar ahead of the Ganga Dussehra festival and weekend on June 16. On Thursday, a large number of pilgrims from Delhi, Haryana and nearby states reached Haridwar. Due to the huge crowd of tourists including pilgrims, Deen Dayal Upadhyay parking was full.

Crowds have also gathered in Pantdweep parking since morning. This year Ganga Dussehra festival is falling on June 16. There is a jam situation on the Haridwar-Delhi highway due to the huge crowd of pilgrims and tourists going on Chardham Yatra.

Additional force has been deployed by the police, so that traffic jams can be avoided on the highway. Vigilance is also being maintained by deploying additional police force at Har Ki Pauri and other Ganga Ghats.

Heavy crowds of tourists are being seen in tourist places like Haridwar, Rishikesh, Mussoorie etc. Parking is full in many tourist places. On the other hand, hotels in tourist places are also completely packed. The police administration is controlling the traffic by deploying additional police force.
