Arvind Kejriwal’s announcement- Will resign from the post of CM after two days

Arvind Kejriwal made an announcement that surprised many while addressing party workers at the party office on Sunday, two days after he was released from jail on charges of alleged scam in Delhi liquor policy.

He said at the Aam Aadmi Party headquarters, “I am going to resign from the CM’s chair and I will not sit on the CM’s chair until the public announces its decision.”

Arvind Kejriwal will resign after two days. Importantly, elections are scheduled to be held on or before February 2025.

He further said, “I will go among the public, go to every street, go to every house and until the public announces its decision that Kejriwal is honest, I will not sit on the CM’s chair.”

Arvind Kejriwal said that Manish Sisodia, who was the Deputy Chief Minister in his government, will also assume his post only when the public announces its decision.

Kejriwal has also demanded that elections for the Delhi Assembly be held in November instead of February.

He has said that until elections are held in Delhi, some other leader will be the Chief Minister of Delhi. For this, there will be a meeting of the Aam Aadmi Party’s legislative party in two days in which the name of the new Chief Minister will be decided.
