Rain water entered the coaching center in Delhi, three students died

A tragic accident happened in Delhi on Saturday night. Many students got trapped in the basement of a coaching center in Rajendra Nagar due to waterlogging. Three of them died. MP Swati Maliwal has reacted sharply to this. There is a frequent problem of water logging in the area and rain water is filled in many places.

LG VK Saxena said, “I have asked the divisional commissioner to submit a report by Tuesday covering every aspect of this tragic incident, although the precious young lives lost due to the administration’s indifference and the criminal work of those running coaching institutes cannot be brought back, but the responsibility of those who have lost their lives will be fixed and the culprits will be punished.”

Fire brigade, local police administration, ambulance and NDRF team also reached the spot for relief & rescue work.

At the same time, Delhi Mayor Shelly Oberoi visited the spot. The Mayor said that information was received about water filling in the basement. Action will be taken against any person or department responsible for this.

Orders for magisterial inquiry

Delhi Government Minister Atishi has directed Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar to start a magisterial inquiry into the incident of water filling in the basement of the coaching institute and students getting trapped and submit the report within 24 hours. AAP MLA Durgesh Pathak suspected that the water might have filled up due to a burst drain or sewer nearby. He said that BJP should answer that they had a councilor for 15 years, what did they do? There should be an investigation into the corruption of Delhi Municipal Corporation. Why was the drain not cleaned?
