“Tie hands and force them to vote for BJP” says BS Yeddyurappa in rally

As the date of the Karnataka election approaching, the talk of politicians has started deteriorating. In the state, BJP’s candidate for the post of Chief Minister and party’s state president BS Yeddyurappa gave a controversial statement in an election meeting on Saturday. After this statement, there has been a shakeup in Karnataka politics. These days, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP President Amit Shah and Union Minister Rajnath are on the election tour of Karnataka and are continuously making public meetings and roadshows.

According to news agency ANI, Addressing an election rally in Belgaum, Karnataka, Yeddyurappa said, “Don’t rest now. If you think that somebody isn’t voting, go to their homes, tie up their hands and legs and bring them to vote in favour of Mahantesh Doddagoudar.”
Attacking Congress, he said that the Chief Minister will lose the election from Siddaramaiah Badami and Chamundeswari. He said, “Congress is a ship drowning this time, so I am requesting you to vote for BJP.”
