Heavy tourist influx seen in Nainital

When the crowd increased in Nainital on the weekend, for the first time this season, vehicles had to be stopped at Rusi Bypass on Haldwani Road, six km away from the city, and Narayan Nagar on Kaladhungi Road and tourists were sent to Nainital by shuttle service.

About two and a half thousand tourist vehicles had entered the city in one day. Due to which the hotel-guest houses along with the parking spaces have become packed. It is estimated that around 20 thousand tourists have arrived. The tourist places remained bustling with traffic throughout the day due to the rush of tourists. Small businesses have also started.

Summer tourism season gradually started gaining momentum

The summer tourism season is gradually gaining momentum in the lake district of India. Tourist vehicles started arriving from morning on Saturday, after noon the parking lots started getting packed, then from 2 pm onwards tourist vehicles were stopped at Rusi Bypass and Narayan Nagar and from there tourists were sent to Nainital by shuttle service.

1221 tourists visited the KMVN operated Cave Garden while around 900 tourists visited the ropeway. About one and a half thousand tourists saw the wild animals in the zoo. There was an influx of tourists in Botanical Garden and Waterfall also. There was hustle and bustle of tourists throughout the day in other tourist parts of the town as well.

The season will gain more momentum after May 15

A crowd of tourists was seen around the boat stands for boating in the lake. According to Tallital SO Ramesh Singh Bohra, more than a hundred tourist vehicles were stopped at Rusi Bypass since 2 pm, this step was taken due to the parking being full. More than 50 tourist vehicles were stopped in Narayan Nagar. According to Ruchir Sah, PRO of Hotel and Restaurant Association, the season is expected to gain more momentum after May 15.
