Government issues list of public holidays in Uttarakhand in 2021
There will also be a public holiday on Harela festival in the state in 2021. The government of Uttarakhand has released the list of public holidays for the year 2021. 28 public holidays have been declared by the government in 2021. However, due to the five-day working week in the Secretariat and the Legislative Assembly, the personnel here will be allowed 24 public holidays. With this, the government has declared 18 unrestricted holidays. Under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 22 holidays have been declared for banks, treasuries and treasuries.
If we look at the list of public holidays issued by the government, this time four public holidays are falling on Sundays and two on Saturdays. The government has also arranged that the District Magistrate can declare three holidays in a year on days of local importance. However, Secretariat and Assembly will be open on local holidays.
