Govt to take strict action against those hiding information while coming to Uttarakhand

The government will act strictly against those coming into the state by not giving full information or incorrect information from outside states. The Chief Minister directed all the District Magistrates that strict action should be taken against those hiding the information and truth. At the same time, to strengthen the surveillance system to prevent corona infection, the ability of sample testing should be further enhanced.

At the Secretariat on Saturday, the Chief Minister reviewed with the Health Department and District Magistrates about the Corona infection and prevention through Video Conferencing. CM said that it is the responsibility of senior doctors to prevent mortality. Monitor those who are serious patients. Senior doctors should also visit Covid hospitals in coordination.

The Chief Minister said that many people coming from outside states are hiding the correct information and truth. Where are they coming from and where do they have to go. They are not giving correct information. Strict action should be taken against such people. District Magistrates have been directed to strengthen surveillance system and increase surveillance.

Oxygen cylinders should be provided with each bed in Covid hospitals. Complete security arrangements should be made in industrial institutions to prevent infection. It should also be ensured that the work of industries is not affected. Sampling of all the people coming from high risk area.

Strict action to be taken against negligent officials

On the complaint of lack of coordination among the staff of Haldwani Medical College, the Chief Minister has asked Commissioner Kumaon to take responsibility. The CM directed that strict action should be taken against the officials who were negligent in their work. Inter-district coordination should be made for effective control over the corona.

Make a two-month plan for health supplies

Secretary Health Amit Singh Negi said that human resources need to be given special attention along with the necessary materials to prevent corona infection. All the District Magistrates should make a two-month plan for the necessary resources.

Government to take actions against those spreading rumours

The government will now deal with those who broadcast fake news on social media in the midst of Covid 19 pandemic. The Chief Minister has asked to be strict in such cases. Following his instructions, the police, intelligence agencies and information department will keep a close watch on social media. If the misinformation is viral, the government will take action against those who disseminate such information.

On Friday, a news of lockdown of 10 days from Monday went viral on social media. Inquiries started from the government to the government after the news was broadcast. After the matter came to notice, it was immediately denied by the government. Earlier, another fake news related to the lockdown was aired on social media.
