On the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the Government Nursing College, Dobh (Shrikot), Pauri, has been renamed as “Late Ankita Bhandari Government Nursing College, Dobh (Shrikot), Pauri.” A memorandum to this effect was issued on Thursday by Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar, Secretary of the Medical Health and Medical Education Department.
Chief Minister Dhami had met with the parents of the late Ankita Bhandari the previous day and reiterated that the government stands firmly with the bereaved family. The Chief Minister assured them of legal, impartial, and swift action on the demands presented by Ankita Bhandari’s parents, stating that ensuring justice for them is the government’s top priority.
