Vehicle full of passengers falls into river in Uttarakhand, 8 killed
A tragic accident took place in Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand. Where a vehicle (Max) with passengers fell into the river. 8 people were reported dead in the accident. While 6 people are said to be seriously injured. According to the information, the vehicle was going from Muvani to Bokata. Which met with an accident near Bhandari village in Muwani area. A total of 14 people were aboard the vehicle.
According to the information received, the incident took place around 4 pm on Tuesday evening. A vehicle (Max Jeep) fell into the river from the Suni Bridge near Muwani in the Thal-Pithoragarh motorway after losing control. 8 people died on the spot in the accident. While 6 people were seriously injured.
The injured were sent to the Primary Health Center Muwani through 108. Where they have been referred to higher center after first aid. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police team led by police, administration and rescue team reached the spot. At present, the causes of jeep accident have not been ascertained.
