Avinash Sable sets new national record in 3000m steeple chase at Paris Diamond League

Apart from this, Olympic team member Kishore Jena’s struggle continued in the men’s javelin throw event and he finished eighth with an effort of 78.10 meters. His best performance is 87.54 meters and the best performance of the season is 80.84 meters. Jena, who won a silver medal in the Asian Games last year, has not performed well this season.
He had thrown 76.31 meters in the Doha Diamond League and 75.49 meters in the Federation Cup. Current Olympic and world champion javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra had decided not to play in this competition due to a thigh problem.
