With this, Smriti created history. She has become the highest run-scorer Indian batsman (female) in a three-match ODI series. Mandhana scored 342 runs in the ODI series. In the first ODI of the series, Smriti played an innings of 117 runs in 127 balls. After this, in the second ODI, she scored 136 runs in 120 balls. In this innings, she also hit 18 fours and 2 sixes.

Another record in her name

Mandhana may have missed the hat-trick of centuries but she has made another record in her name. Mandhana has now become the second highest run-scorer for Indian women batter in ODIs. She has scored 3585 runs in 85 innings of 85 ODIs played so far at an average of 45.37. During this, she has hit 7 fours. Mithali Raj is at the top of this list. The former Indian captain had scored 7805 runs in 211 innings of 232 matches at an average of 50.68.
