India wins thriller in 5th Test against England; level series 2-2

The Indian cricket team defeated the England team by 6 runs and with this achieved a 2-2 draw in the series. In this, the Indian team gave England a target of 374 runs to win, in response to which the England team was reduced to just 367 runs. Prasidh Krishna and Mohammed Siraj bowled brilliantly to set up the win for India in the second innings at the Oval in London. This is also the narrowest margin of victory by runs for team India.
India did such a feat for the first time
This is the first time in the history of Test cricket that India has won the last match of a five-Test series on foreign soil. Earlier, India had played 16 series of five Test matches on foreign soil, out of which it lost the last Test 6 times and the last Test match was drawn 10 times. Now finally the Indian team has been successful in winning the last match of a five-Test series abroad.
Joe Root and Harry Brook centuries go in vain
Harry Brook and Joe Root proved to be the biggest heroes for the England team in the second innings. Both these players scored centuries. Brook scored a century in just 91 balls while scoring runs at a fast pace. He scored 111 runs in the match, which included 14 fours and two sixes. Root scored 110 runs. Ben Duckett, who came to open, also showed good batting and played an innings of 54 runs. On the fifth day, with 35 runs to get, Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna bowled strongly and took three wickets quickly. Then Chris Woakes came out to bat even after being injured. But could not make much impact. Siraj took five wickets in the second innings and Krishna took four wickets. Gus Atkinson was out as the last wicket and he scored 17 runs.
Indian team scored 224 runs in the first innings. Then Karun Nair definitely scored 57 runs by hitting a half-century and the rest of the batsmen not stepping up. After this, the England team scored 247 runs in the first innings and got a crucial lead of 23 runs on the basis of the first innings, then Zak Crawley scored the highest 64 runs for England.
