5058 new corona cases; 1601 recoveries in Uttarakhand on 26 April

On Monday, 5058 new cases have been reported across the state. While 1601 people have fully recovered. 67 covid positive patients lost their lives as per the health bulletin of 26 April 2021. The number of infected patients in the state has increased to 156859. Of these, 112265 are fully recovered. Currently 39031 cases are active, while 2213 have died. Apart from this, 3350 patients have gone out of state. 684 Police officers and workers have also tested positive for Corona.

In the second wave of corona, 684 police officers and  workers across the state have also become corona infected. Some of them are those who went to Kumbh duty and some have been infected in General Duty. All of the infected had received both doses of vaccine, so no one is serious condition.

67 patients died in the state

The process of death of corona infected in the state is not slowing down 67 patients died in the state on Monday. With this, the total death toll in the state so far has been 2213. A total of 163 containment zones have been created in the state to prevent corona infection. Of which 54 have been created in Dehradun, 10 in Haridwar, 40 in Nainital, 8 in Pauri, 16 in Uttarkashi, 15 in US Nagar, 14 in Champawat, 1 in Chamoli, 4 in Tehri and 1 in Rudraprayag.

Active cases have reached 39031 due to the rapid increase in infected cases. On Monday, 2034 cases were in Dehradun district, 1002 in Haridwar, 767 in Nainital, 283 in Udhamsingh Nagar, 104 in Champawat, 323 in Pauri, 45 in Uttarkashi, 87 in Tehri, 135 in Almora, 88 in Pithoragarh, 97 in Chamoli, 64 in Rudraprayag and 29 infected cases have been found in Bageshwar district.
