The state government has constituted a single-member commission to investigate the alleged paper leak case in the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission’s graduate-level recruitment exam. Retired Justice UC Dhyani of the Nainital High Court will be the chairman of the commission. The commission will take cognizance of the SIT’s investigation report and provide guidance.

It is alleged that during the UKSSSC graduate-level recruitment exam on September 21st, three pages of the question paper leaked at a center in Haridwar and went viral on social media. The state government had appointed retired High Court Justice BS Verma to conduct a judicially monitored SIT investigation into the matter. However, Justice Verma expressed his inability to undertake the government’s mandate due to personal reasons and lack of time.
