Ankita Bhandari Case: Murder case registered against accused
The last update in the case of Ankita Bhandari of Pauri Garhwal, who went missing under suspicious circumstances in the resort located in Ganga Bhogpur, was revealed. The police has registered case under section 302/201 of IPC against the accused. A furious mob beat up the accused in police custody. Along with this, anger also descended on the resort.

Police investigation revealed that Ankita had threatened the accused to reveal the misdeeds happening in the resort. A case has been registered under sections 302,201 and 120B of IPC. After the incident, there is huge anger among the residents of the area.
19 year old Ankita Bhandari, resident of district Pauri Garhwal, used to work as a receptionist at a resort located in Ganga Bhogpur, Rishikesh. But on September 18, she went missing under suspicious circumstances. A missing case was registered at Revenue Police Chowki Udaipur Talla.

The main accused has turned out to be the resort owner, Pulkit Arya. The three accused were also misleading the police. After registering a case under sections 302,201 and 120B, all three have been sent to jail. It was also informed that the police had locked the resort while taking six people into custody in the case last day.
A team sent to the Cheela canal area
The accused arrested in the Ankita Bhandari missing case told during interrogation that on the day of the incident, after a dispute, the accused pushed the victim into the canal near Cheela Road, after which she drowned. ASP Pauri Shekhar Suyal said that while registering a case of murder in this case, Laxmanjhula police has sent a team to the Cheela canal area. SDRF team is doing a search operation in Cheela canal. If needed, the Cheela canal will also be closed for some time.
