Chardham Yatra 2025: 10 lakh devotees expected in first fortnight of Yatra
10 lakh devotees are expected to arrive in the first 15 days of the Chardham Yatra. This time the state government has made a special strategy to control the crowd in the Dhams. The date on which the Yatra registration is done, the permission to visit will be given on the same day. Apart from this, offline registration facility will be available in Rishikesh, Haridwar, Vikasnagar, Herbertpur and Naya Gaon.
The government has planned a smooth, pleasant and safe journey for the pilgrims coming to the Chardham Yatra starting from April 30. The state government has requested VIP guests not to come to the Yatra during the period from May 2 to 31 under the protocol. In this regard, Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan sent a letter to the Chief Secretaries of all the states and requested to avoid VIP travel.
The devotees have registered for the Yatra. They will be allowed to visit the Dhams on the same day. Apart from this, keeping in mind the security in the Dhams, registration will be done on the basis of the crowd of devotees.
