Heat increases woes as temperatures reach 40 in plains of Uttarakhand

The rising temperature is going to trouble people a lot in Uttarakhand. While the temperature has reached 40 degrees in the plain districts of the state, the temperature is expected to reach 42 degrees in the coming days. At no relief from the heat in the state is visible on the horizon. In such a situation, the Meteorological Department is also advising people to take special precautions regarding the heat.

The plain districts of Uttarakhand are scorching with heat these days. Even in the hilly districts, higher than normal temperatures are causing problems at some places. On the other hand, the Meteorological Department, while making a new prediction, has said that the problems of the people will continue in the same manner in the coming days also. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature in the state can reach up to 42 degrees Celsius, due to which people will have to go through a heat wave. This condition will be in the plain districts of the state and the temperature will be seen increasing like this for the next three to four days. However, the temperature has already become very high in the plain districts of Uttarakhand and this time in the third week of May the temperature has crossed 40 degrees Celsius.

Heat wave in uttarakhand

While the temperature in the state is expected to reach 42 degrees Celsius in the coming days, the hilly districts will also be seen getting affected by it. According to the Meteorological Department, its effect will be visible in the hilly districts adjoining the plain districts also. Temperatures will also be recorded above normal in districts like Nainital, Pauri and Dehradun. The Meteorological Department has made it clear that in these circumstances people need to take special precautions to avoid heat.

Rain forecast in hilly districts

However, there is a possibility of light rain at some places in the hilly districts of the state during the next two days. But this will not have any significant effect on the temperature. There will be light rain in the higher reaches of the state and this may only bring relief from the temperature in that area for some time. It is not going to have any effect on the temperature in other areas. According to the Meteorological Department, there are no signs of good rain in the coming days. That is why people are being told again and again that they will face heat waves.

Weather department alert

The Meteorological Department issued an alert saying that people should avoid leaving the house from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm so that they are not affected by the heat wave. According to the Meteorological Department, incidents of forest fire may decrease due to extreme heat in the plain areas adjoining districts like Nainital, Pauri, Tehri, Dehradun.
