Mahindra Bhatt elected state president BJP UK for second consecutive term

Mahendra Bhatt has been elected for the second consecutive time as the state president of BJP Uttarakhand. In the nomination process for the post of state president, only Bhatt was nominated. Eight senior leaders including former CM Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Trivendra Singh Rawat, Tirath Singh have been elected for the National Council member. In the meeting of the Provincial Council on Tuesday (July 1), Central Election Officer Harsh Malhotra formally announced the election of Bhatt as the state president and members of the National Council.

On Monday, the nomination process for the state president and national council member started in the state BJP office. In the presence of senior party leaders including Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, state in-charge Dushyant Kumar Gautam, Mahendra Bhatt submitted his nomination papers for the post of state president to the state election officer Khajan Das. During this entire organization election process, co-election officers Pushkar Kala, Meera Raturi, Rakesh Giri along with Jyoti Gairola, Subhash Barthwal, Kuldeep Kumar, state vice-president Mukesh Koli, state media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan and a large number of party officials and senior workers were present.

After the nomination process was completed, Election Officer Khajan Das said that his nomination papers filed in five sets were signed by 10 different proposers. The main proposers of all the sets were Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami, former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, National Media Incharge and Garhwal Lok Sabha MP Anil Baluni, Nainital MP Ajay Bhatt and Almora MP and Union Minister of State Ajay Tamta.
