Major administrative reshuffle in the state, DMs of many districts changed

There has been a major administrative reshuffle in Uttarakhand late last night. Kumaon Commissioner Deepak Rawat has also been given the responsibility of Secretary CM. Harishchandra Semwal will be the new Excise Commissioner. Jharna Kamthan has been given the responsibility of Director General School Education.

New DM in Dehradun & Haridwar

Savin Bansal has been made the DM of Dehradun in place of Sonika. Karmendra Singh has been made the DM of Haridwar in place of Dhiraj Singh Garbyal who inturn has been made Additional Secretary, Rural Development and Public Works Department. At the same time, Vinod Giri Goswami has been given the responsibility in place of Pithoragarh DM Reena Joshi. Bageshwar DM Anuradha Pal has been transferred to the post of Additional Secretary Medical Health and Medical Education. Ashish Bhatgai has been sent in her place.

Chamoli DM Himanshu Khurana has been transferred to the post of Chief Executive Officer PMGSY and Secretary Right to Service Commission, his responsibility has been given to Sandeep Tiwari. Almora DM Vineet Tomar has been transferred to the post of MD Management KMVN, Alok Kumar Pandey has been sent here. A total of 32 officers have been transferred.
