PM Modi to visit Uttarakhand tomorrow, will do aerial inspection of disaster affected areas

This time the monsoon has caused heavy devastation in Uttarakhand. Heavy rains, cloudbursts and landslides have caused a lot of damage at many places, especially in the hilly districts. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Uttarakhand on September 11 to take stock of the devastation after heavy rains. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a program to conduct an aerial inspection of the disaster-affected areas at 4:15 pm.

After this, at 5:00 PM, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to hold a high-level meeting in Dehradun. Prime Minister Modi will not only visit Uttarakhand on Thursday but he is also going to visit Uttar Pradesh. The PM will first visit Uttar Pradesh. In UP, PM Modi will go to Varanasi. According to PIB, at around 11:30 am in Varanasi, the Prime Minister will host the Prime Minister of Mauritius, Dr. Navinchandra Ramgoolam. The PM of Mauritius is on a state visit to India from 9 to 16 September 2025.

PM Modi will do an aerial inspection of Uttarkashi, Chamoli and surrounding areas in an army helicopter. After this, he will return and hold a high-level meeting with all the officials and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the airport itself. In this meeting, along with the officials of Uttarakhand, the officials of the central team that has visited the state will also be present.
