Teachers day 2025: Two teachers from Uttarakhand received the National Teacher Award

Two teachers from Uttarakhand Manjubala of Champawat district of Uttarakhand and Manish Mamgain from Dehradun were awarded the National Teacher Award 2025 in Delhi. Manjubala, who was awarded the National Teacher Award 2025, is from Champawat district. She is posted as the headmistress in Churani Primary School while Manish Mamgain is a Training Officer of NSTI who was honored for outstanding contribution in education and skill development. President Draupadi Murmu honored both of them from Uttarakhand with the National Teacher Award. In a special program held in New Delhi, President Draupadi Murmu addressed teachers from all over the country. During this, she praised the teachers working in the field of education.
During this, President Draupadi Murmu said that the biggest award for teachers is that their students remember them for life and make commendable contribution to the family, society and country.
Also President Draupadi Murmu said that the education of girls should be given the highest importance. By investing in the education of daughters, we make invaluable investments in the building of our family, society and nation. President Draupadi Murmu said that the objective of the National Education Policy is to make India a Global Knowledge Superpower. For this, it is imperative that our teachers are recognized as the best teachers in the world.
Under the National Teacher Award, a certificate is given, in which the teacher is appreciated for his contribution to education. Along with this, a reward of Rs 50,000 is given. Under the National Teacher Award, a medal is also given to the teacher. This program takes place in the country’s capital Delhi. Where teachers from all over the country are honored.
