In Uttarakhand, the situation has become frightening in terms of corona cases. Here the daily number of infected is increasing every day. There were record 2402 new cases of corona in the state. This is by far the highest number of infected individuals in a day. The severity of the situation can be gauged from the fact that in the last one week, 12 thousand 400 new cases have come in the state. At the same time, sample positivity rate is also becoming a cause for concern. It was 7.30 percent on Friday. At the same time, the infection rate in four districts is above 10 percent. Here, 17 corona-infected patients have also died. This is the highest number of deaths in a single day this year. Within a week, seventy patients have died due to corona.
According to the information received from the Health Department, test reports of 32,944 samples have been received from private and government labs. Of these, 30542 reports are negative. Dehradun district has been worst hit by Corona. There are 1051 positive samples reported here. 539 people have been infected in Haridwar.
At the same time, 296 new cases have been reported in Nainital and 220 in Udham Singh Nagar. Apart from this, 76 people were found infected in Pauri Garhwal, 52 in Champawat, 48 in Almora, 39 in Tehri Garhwal, 29 in Chamoli, 19 in Bageshwar, 17 in Rudraprayag, 14 in Uttarkashi and 2 in Pithoragarh. Meanwhile, 1080 patients have become healthy in various districts of the state. Of the 17 patients who died, five died in AIIMS Rishikesh.
