Uttarakhand daily Corona update: 620 new cases on 17 December
On Thursday, 620 new cases of corona were reported in the state. Nine corona-infected patients also died. The total number of corona infected patients has reached 84689 in the state. The state now has 6062 active corona patients.
According to the Health Bulletin released on Thursday, 48 cases were found positive in Almora, 22 in Bageshwar, 34 in Chamoli, 14 in Champawat, 194 in Dehradun, 36 in Haridwar, 127 in Nainital, 20 in Pithoragarh, 18 in Rudraprayag, 28 in Tehri, 40 in US Nagar, 39 in Uttarkashi.
The state has an infection rate of 5.40 percent and a recovery rate of 90 percent. 76223 patients have also been cured in the state. 13169 sample reports came negative on Thursday. 14427 samples sent to the investigation. Still waiting for 17175 sample report.
1384 patients have died. On Thursday, three patients died in Sushila Tiwari Haldwani, one in AIIMS Rishikesh, three in Himalayan Hospital Dehradun, one in Prayas Hospital US Nagar.
Recovery rate again at 90 percent
It is a matter of relief that the number of people recovering on Thursday is higher than the new patients. 676 patients have been cured from various districts. These include 251 in Dehradun, 70 in Haridwar, 68 in Pithoragarh, 53 in Udhamsinghnagar, 51 in Chamoli, 40 in Tehri, 33 in Nainital, 29 in Pauri, 27 in Bageshwar, 26 in Almora, 15 in Uttarkashi, 9 in Champawat and 4 in patients from Rudraprayag. The good thing is that the recovery rate in the state has again reached 90 percent.
