The state government will conduct special audit of key government departments/ undertakings in news for corrupt practices. Chief Minister TS Rawat said, “The Department of Finance has been asked to undertake special audits and once the audit report is out within two-three months, action will be taken.” The state government had set up a SIT to look into the NH-74 scam. Minister for Cooperatives Dhan Singh Rawat had revealed recently that several malpractices had come to light in the cooperative banks which too would come under the scanner.
