Uttarakhand STF nabs two including prime accused in exam fraud scheme
Under the Uttarakhand Chief Minister’s strict anti-cheating law, the Uttarakhand Police and Special Task Force (STF) have taken major action and arrested the prime accused Hakam Singh and his associate Pankaj Gaur yesterday. Both are accused of demanding lakhs of rupees from candidates by promising them success in the examination.
According to the police, the accused were demanding between 12 and 15 lakh rupees from candidates by promising them success in the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission examination. The plan was to pocket the money if the candidates were automatically selected, and in the event of failure, they would deceive the candidates by pretending to “adjust” the money in future examinations.
बड़ी कार्रवाई।
