Uttarakhand weather expected to change once again; rain alert issued for 3 days

The weather in Uttarakhand is forecast to change once again. The Meteorological Department has predicted the activation of a new Western Disturbance in the state. This will likely bring rainfall to various parts of the state over the next three days.

According to the Meteorological Center, due to the disturbance becoming active from Saturday (January 31), rainfall is expected in most districts of the state on February 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Meteorologists have warned that there is a strong possibility of thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds in some parts of the state during this period. Heavy snowfall is also anticipated in the higher reaches, which could lead to a significant drop in temperatures.
