The plains are likely to experience biting cold and fog once again. According to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Department, a yellow alert for dense fog has been issued for December 24th in Dehradun, as well as parts of Haridwar, Udham Singh Nagar, Nainital, Champawat, and Pauri districts. This could lead to cold day conditions in Udham Singh Nagar, Champawat, and Nainital districts.
Looking ahead, the weather will remain dry across the state until December 27th. Rain and snowfall are possible in the hilly districts on December 28th and 29th.
