Initiative to promote eco-tourism: Nature fest to be organized in Harshil

Efforts are being made by various organizations in the area to promote eco-tourism in Harshil area. For the first time, the organization will organize a six-day nature festival in April in the valley for information on bird watching, landscape, etc. in collaboration with the forest department.
A meeting was organized with local people, traders, hoteliers by Titli Trust and Taknaur Mountain Conservation Society in Harshil area. DFO DP Baluni interacted with the local people to promote eco-tourism in the area. On this occasion, the people of the trust told that information about birds and butterflies, herbs, trees and plants along with rare wildlife was collected by them in Harshil valley.
This is one of the beautiful and positive places for biodiversity in the world. Tourism can be promoted through biodiversity by connecting with environmental conservation. At the same time, it can become a powerful medium for employment of youth. Bird expert Keshar Singh of Titli Trust said that for the first time in April, Nature Festival is being organized in Harshil with the cooperation of Forest Department. Many experts from India and abroad will join this, who will work to promote eco-tourism by presenting research on the biodiversity here.
