Yamuna level rises again in Syanachatti, water starts over the bridge

The problems of the people can increase due to the formation of a lake in Syanachatti town once again. Due to the continuous rain in the area, water has entered the houses of the people due to the formation of a lake in the town. Trees have got stuck on the bridge built on Yamuna, due to which the river water is now flowing over the bridge. The District Magistrate and other officials have left for the spot.
The situation has become challenging in Syanachatti, the main stop of Yamunotri Dham in Uttarkashi, due to the torrential rains in the mountains. The situation is that the motor bridge built on the Yamunotri Highway is overflowing with water over Yamuna. The hotels built on the river bank have been half submerged in water for many days. On Sunday, once again water entered the hotels, residential buildings and people’s houses.
The problem of the lake formed in the Yamuna river in Syanachatti is not new. This problem had arisen even before the Dharali disaster. On 28 June due to the debris that came with the Kupda Gad overflowing. Which became serious on 21 August when the debris that came with the Kupda Gad overflowing again blocked the flow of the river. Although the lake was emptied a day after this due to the overflowing of the river, but since 24 August the water level of the river has been fluctuating.
