Many nations close air spaces amidst Middle East crisis

The impact of Israel and the US military action against Iran is being felt in other countries as well. Citing security concerns, several countries, including Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Qatar, have completely closed their airspace, causing concern for passengers.

Air India and IndiGo flights from Kannur to Doha, and Air India’s service from Thiruvananthapuram to Dubai and Doha have been officially cancelled. Additionally, Air Arabia’s Abu Dhabi service has also been suspended.

Many Arab countries including have temporarily closed their airspace. Due to this, flights to many cities of the Middle East including Tel Aviv, Abu Dhabi, Dubai have been suspended. Connecting flights have also been affected, due to which a large number of passengers are feared to be stranded at various airports. Passengers are facing huge difficulties due to sudden cancellation of flights by airlines. Many passengers said that they are neither getting clear information about alternative flights nor adequate accommodation arrangements.
