Uttarakhand weather: Relief from rains expected as temperatures near 40 degrees

The heat has started showing its effects in Uttarakhand since last few days. The situation was such that on Thursday, the maximum temperature of Doon increased by four degrees and crossed 39 degrees, along with this it was also the hottest day of the season. The effect of scorching heat was also visible on the city roads during the day. According to meteorologists, the temperature may reach around 40 in the coming days.

At the same time, the weather is expected to change once again in the hilly districts of Uttarakhand today. The Meteorological Center has predicted light rain in some areas of Dehradun including Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar, Champawat and Pithoragarh districts. According to the forecast issued by the Centre, lightning may also occur in these districts. However, the weather will remain dry in other districts.
