Uttarakhand corona update: 28 new cases found on 14 October

In Uttarakhand, 28 new corona infected have been found in the last 24 hours. At the same time, not a single patient has died. While four patients were sent home after recovery. The number of active cases has increased to 175. While on Wednesday there were 153 active patients in the state.

According to the bulletin issued by the Health Department, the test report of 14,709 samples has come negative on Thursday. Not a single infected patient has been found in five districts of Almora, Bageshwar, Tehri, Udham Singh Nagar and Uttarkashi. At the same time, one each in Chamoli and Pauri, four in Champawat, six in Dehradun, two each in Haridwar and Rudraprayag, nine in Nainital and three in Pithoragarh have been found infected.

Infection rate reached 0.18 percent

So far, the total number of corona infected in the state has increased to 343729. Of these, 330036 people have been cured. A total of 7397 people have lost their lives due to corona in the state. The recovery rate of the state has been recorded at 96.02 percent and infection rate of 0.18 percent.

Chamoli is second in getting the second dose of the vaccine

Chamoli district is running second in the matter of applying the second dose of corona vaccine. The goal of the Health Department is now to bring the district to the first place. Chamoli district had got the target of applying 2,63,349 vaccines. Everyone in the district has got the first dose. While 1,69,108 people have also received the second dose. This is about 64 percent of the target.

Vaccination campaign is being run every week in the district. Teams of the Health Department are going to different places and doing vaccination. Deputy CMO Dr. Uma Rawat informed that the work of vaccination is going on fast in the district. So far 64 percent of the people in the district have received the second dose. Soon Chamoli district can come in the first place.
