Uttarakhand corona update: 33 cases found on 3rd March
In the third wave of corona in Uttarakhand, the least number of infected cases have been reported in a day. 33 new infected have been found within the last 24 hours. While two patients have died. More than twice as many patients have been cured as compared to the infected.
According to the Health Department, the test report of 5117 samples has come negative on Thursday.
In nine districts, 33 people have been found corona infected. For the first time in the third wave, the least number of infected have been found in a day. 15 cases were reported in Dehradun district, 6 in Haridwar, 3 in Pauri, 2 in Almora, 2 in Chamoli, 2 in Uttarkashi, 1 each in Nainital, Pithoragarh, Tehri districts. No new infected have been found in Bageshwar, Champawat, Rudraprayag and Udham Singh Nagar districts.
Two corona patients have died in the state. The death toll in the third wave so far has risen to 268. 117 infected have been cured. Including these, 87262 patients have become healthy. Presently 770 active patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals and home isolation in Uttarakhand. The recovery rate of the state is 95.37 percent and the infection rate has been recorded at 0.64 percent on the basis of sample testing.
