IIITD student gets 1.45 crore salary offer from Facebook
The first phase of the placement process has been completed at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Delhi. A student of IIIT Delhi got an annual package of Rs 1.45 crore. This package has been given by Facebook to a student doing computer science engineering. This is the highest annual salary proposal so far at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology. According to information received from IIIT Delhi, a placement campaign was organized for the students who graduated in the academic session 2019-20.
Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Nvidia, Samsung R&D and many other companies have joined the placement program. A total of 562 offers have been received to students graduating in 2020, including 310 fulltime offers and 252 internship offers. Apart from this, the other two students have received a package of Rs 43 lakh and Rs 33 lakh. At the same time, 108 internships have been offered to students who will complete B.Tech in 2021 from the institute.
The second phase of the placement campaign is now to be organized in December at IIIT Delhi. International and national companies will be involved in this placement program.
