5 districts of Uttarakhand on cusp of becoming free from Corona

Five districts of Uttarakhand may soon become corona free. Active cases in these districts are in unit numbers. Tehri district has the least one active case. While there are nine active cases in Nainital and Pauri Garhwal, six in Haridwar and four in Almora. The good thing is that the rate of getting new cases is also low now. On Sunday, 12 people have been found infected in the state. While 16 patients have become healthy after beating Corona. It is also a relief that no new case of corona has come up in six districts.

According to the information received from the Health Department, test reports of 9658 samples have been received from private and government labs. Out of these, the report of 9646 samples has come negative. Four people have been found corona infected in Dehradun. Apart from this, two people each have been found infected in Rudraprayag and Bageshwar and one each in Nainital, Pithoragarh, Udhamsingnagar and Uttarkashi. No new case of corona has been reported in Almora, Chamoli, Champawat, Haridwar, Pauri and Tehri Garhwal.

So far 3,42,749 cases of corona have come in the state. In which 3,29,006 (95.99 percent) people have become healthy. At the same time, the active cases have now come down to 317. So far 7377 corona infected persons have also died in the state.

Corona testing decline

There is also a decline in the corona investigation in the state. According to the report of the SDC Foundation, only 59 percent of the Covid tests are being done in the state as compared to the target. The government had set a target of testing forty thousand samples in a day. According to this, a total of 2,80,000 samples should have been tested in a week. But last week only about 1,15,000 samples have been tested in the state.
