IMD issues alert of high temperatures in NCR

In the first week of May itself, the heat has started hampering daily life and the temperature has reached above normal. The maximum temperature recorded in the national capital Delhi on Monday was 40.7 degrees Celsius, which is one degree more than the normal temperature of this season. Giving information, India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that May 5 was the hottest day of the year recorded in Delhi-NCR. The maximum temperature reached 41.1 degrees Celsius on Sunday, which was two degrees more than the normal temperature for this season.

India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted partly cloudy sky in the national capital Delhi on Tuesday. The department has also predicted dust storms and storms at night with a speed of 35 to 45 km per hour. IMD said that there may be a slight increase in temperature in the capital on Tuesday. The maximum and minimum temperatures in Delhi are likely to be 42 and 25 degrees Celsius respectively.
