CM Dhami inaugurates online portal for income, domicile certificate etc related 75 services
In Uttarakhand, you can now apply from home for 75 types of services including caste, income, permanent residence certificate as well as application for pension. For this the IT department has started Apni Sarkar Portal. The aim is to take the number of services available in this to two hundred and fifty by May.
While inaugurating Apni Sarkar and Unnati Portal at IRDT Auditorium at Survey Chowk on Wednesday, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that earlier only 32 services were available online through e-district. For this people had to go to Janadhar Kendra or CSC.
But now 75 such services will be available on Apni Sarkar Portal. In this way people will be able to apply from home, in this process fees will also have to be paid less. The CM said that the government is trying to make the reach of IT services accessible to all.
On this occasion, Principal Secretary IT RK Sudhanshu said that along with the applicant on the Apni Sarkar portal, there will be a Dashboard of the department, on which both will be able to see the progress of the application. Due to this, people will get services in this process in a time bound manner. On this occasion, the Unnati portal was also launched to keep an eye on various projects of government departments.
