Uttarakhand Corona update: 311 cases found on 2nd October
The downtrend of Corona Graph in Uttarakhand continued on Friday, October 2 as well. Corona infection was confirmed in 311 people, out of which 132 cases were reported in Haridwar. Apart from this, 47 in Tehri Garhwal, 67 in Dehradun, 33 in Uttarkashi, 14 in Almora, 6 in Pauri Garhwal, 4 in Chamoli, three each in Bageshwar and Rudraprayag while two cases were reported in Nainital. At the same time, 340 have been cured, while 11 have died. The number of infected patients has now increased to 49559 in the state, while 40176 patients have become fully healthy. Currently 8504 K are active, while 636 have died. In addition 243 infected have gone out of state.
Corona’s presence in education directorate
Corona has also made its presence in the Directorate of Education. Confirmation of corona infection has emerged in three Directorate employees. Director of Education RK Kunwar said that the health of the three employees was not good for some time. Their report has been positive after getting Corona examined. Corona tests of other employees are also being done as a precautionary measure. He said that tomorrow Saturday, sanitization will be done keeping the Directorate of Education closed. The office will open again from Monday.
The total number of positive patients has reached 49559. 40176 patients have also recovered. There are still 8504 active cases in the state.
The recovery rate of patients has increased to 81.07 percent. The doubling rate has reached 58.89 days. The infection rate has increased to 7.08 percent. On Friday 8343 samples were sent for testing from across various districts of Uttarakhand.
