Uttarakhand daily Corona update: 480 cases found on November 5

Corona cases have started increasing again in Uttarakhand. On Thursday, corona has been confirmed among 480 people in the state. A total of 64065 people have been infected so far. In which 58823 people have won the battle against Corona. There are currently 3680 active cases, while 515 patients have gone out of state.

According to the information received from the Health Department, test reports of 11204 samples have been received from government and private labs. Out of these 10724 cases, the report is negative. The maximum number of 118 people have been infected in Pauri. Among them, reports of 80 teachers of four blocks has also returned positive. After which instructions have been given to close the concerned schools. Apart from this, an employee has been found infected in the office of Additional Education Director of Garhwal Division, Elementary Education. After which the office has been closed for three days. The concern of the local administration and health department has increased due to sudden increase in cases. Even in Dehradun, the speed of Corona is not stopping. 84 more people have been found infected here. At the same time, in Rudraprayag, test report of 73 people has come positive. Besides, 47 persons have been found infected in Nainital, 41 in Almora, 25 in Haridwar, 19 each in Chamoli, Tehri and Bageshwar, 14 in Pithoragarh, 10 in Udham Singh Nagar, 9 in Uttarkashi and 2 in Champawat.

Nine more patients died

The number of people who died of corona in the state is increasing day by day. Nine more infected patients died on Thursday. Three of them died in Dr. Sushila Tiwari Government Hospital in Haldwani, two each in Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital and District Hospital Rudrapur and one each in AIIMS Rishikesh and Kailash Hospital. So far, 1047 corona infected patients have died in the state.

Recovery rate near 92 percent

Relief among the increasing cases of corona is that more number of patients are also getting healthier than new patients. On Thursday also 602 patients from different districts have been cured. Of these, 150 are from Udham Singh Nagar, 146 from Nainital, 81 from Dehradun, 53 from Haridwar, 43 from Pauri, 41 from Uttarkashi, 37 from Rudraprayag, 27 from Tehri, 11 from Almora, 8 from Chamoli and 5 patients from Bageshwar. The recovery rate in the present state is 91.82 percent.
