180 corona cases recorded in Delhi in last 24 hours; highest in over 6 months

Corona infection is increasing continuously in Delhi amidst increasing cases of Omicron. The situation is that the infection rate has increased four times in the last 24 days. Due to this the infection rate has reached 0.29 percent. Due to this, 180 new cases of corona came in Delhi on Friday, which is the highest in about six and a half months (191 days). These increasing cases of corona are indicating serious danger. Earlier on June 16, there were 212 cases of corona in Delhi. Then the infection rate was 0.27 percent. 82 patients have been cured in the last 24 hours. It is a matter of relief that not a single patient has died of corona in the last 24 hours.

Due to increasing cases of corona, the number of active patients is increasing. Due to this the number of active patients has increased to more than 750. In such a situation, if the number of active patients continues to increase due to the rising corona cases, then the problems may increase more. According to the Health Department, 14,42,813 cases of corona have been reported in Delhi so far. Out of which 14,16,928 patients have been cured.

Number of active patients increased to 782

A day earlier there were 684 active patients in Delhi, which has now increased to 782. Out of this, 227 patients are admitted in hospitals. At the same time 375 patients are in home isolation.

Containment Zone 207

Three new containment zones have been created in Delhi in the last 24 hours. Due to this, the number of containment zones has increased from 204 to 207.
