Public holiday declared on Nov 1 for women employees working in government establishments of Uttarakhand
CM Pushkar Singh Dhami government has given a gift to women employees of Uttarakhand. The government has issued an order to grant leave to women employees on the occasion of Karva Chauth on November 1. After six years, the government has given leave to women employees on Karva Chauth. Earlier in 2016, leave was announced for women employees of the state.

The government has declared Karva Chauth as a public holiday for women employees of Uttarakhand. An order was given by Secretary General Administration Vinod Kumar Suman to declare Karva Chauth as a public holiday. On Tuesday, the government has issued an order for the same.
