Government alerted on increasing cases of Corona, Center issues advisory to states

Corona cases have suddenly started increasing in the country. The first JN.1 variant has been detected in the country. The central government has been alerted regarding this. The Center has issued guidelines for various states. Under this, the Center has said that the states should keep a constant eye on the situation arising due to Covid. Apart from this, instructions have also been given to monitor the reports of SARI and ILI cases coming at the district level. States have also been asked to conduct RT-PCR tests in sufficient quantities. It has also been advised to send the positive samples found here to INSACOG Labs for genome sequencing.

335 cases in 24 hours in the country

In the last 24 hours, a total of 335 new cases have been reported in the country. Apart from this, five people have also died in UP and Kerala due to Corona. In view of the increasing cases in Kerala, an advisory has been issued in Karnataka. The Health Minister here has advised all senior citizens and those suffering from other diseases to wear masks. However, he has also said that people do not need to worry about this at all. But no carelessness should be taken.

The increasing cases of Corona in the country as well as across the world are becoming a cause for concern. Nearly 60 thousand corona cases have been reported in Singapore in the last two weeks. WHO has also issued a warning regarding this. The new sub variant JN.1 of Corona is a cause of concern. This new variant has affected people in America and China also.

China and America are also troubled by the increasing cases of Corona. In both these countries, the JN.2 sub variant is a cause of trouble. Not only these two countries, but this new variant has reached about 40 countries. Corona cases in America have increased by 200 percent in the last four weeks. This is the figure of those admitted to hospital.
