Section 144 imposed in Aurangabad after communal tension grips the city

Violence erupted between two communities in Maharashtra’s Aurangabad last night. There is still a situation of tension in the old area of ​​Aurangabad. To control the rioters, police had to fire the bullets. There is news of the death of a person so far in violence, while more than 25 people, including 15 policemen, were injured.

 The police also fired in order to control the rioters, in which one child was injured. On Friday a fight took the form of violent clashes between the two communities, after which the riots spread to Gandhinagar, Rajabazar and Shahganj areas of the city.
AIMIM president and MP from Hyderabad, Asaduddin Owaisi, has tweeted demanding an investigation into the Aurangabad violence, particularly demanding a probe into the role of a man named Rachhu, who has stirred up the violence and sent additional security forces to establish peace in the area.
According to the police, violent clashes continue on the night of Friday and people from both communities have fiercely attacked shops in the affected areas. A large number of police forces have been deployed in the old part of Aurangabad and Section 144 has been imposed.

The police say that till now it is not known as to why the violence erupted. It is being said that the dispute started due to discrimination in cutting the illegal water pipeline. There is also a matter of professional supremacy. At present, a large number of security forces are deployed in the city and stress situation remains.
