Uttarakhand corona update: 23 new cases found on 4 May

Now the corona infection rate is increasing in Uttarakhand. On Wednesday, after almost two months, the daily infection rate increased to close to two percent. It is recorded at 1.82 percent. 23 new cases of corona were found in the state and 19 patients have recovered as per the health report issued on 4th May. No patient has died of corona.

At present there are 115 active cases of corona in the state. Dehradun has the highest number of 83, while Nainital has eight and Haridwar has seven active cases. There is no active case of corona in two districts Pithoragarh and Rudraprayag.

According to the information received from the Health Department, the test report of 1264 samples has been received from private and government labs in the last 24 hours. Out of these, the report of 1241 samples has come negative.

Maximum 14 people have been found corona infected in Dehradun. Apart from this, three people have been found infected in Haridwar, two each in Pauri and Udham Singh Nagar, one each in Nainital and Tehri. No new cases of corona have been found in the other seven districts of Chamoli, Almora, Uttarkashi, Champawat, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh and Rudraprayag. Here, 2209 samples from different districts have been sent for corona investigation.

This year 92,462 cases of corona have been found in the state. Out of these, 88,844 (96.09 percent) people have defeated Corona. This year 275 patients have also died due to corona infection. Experts say that if carelessness is taken in these circumstances, then the infection may increase even more in the coming days. Although masks have been made mandatory in public places, people are not following them.

There is also a provision to charge a fine ranging from 500 to 1000 rupees from those who do not wear masks in public places, but people are not ready to accept. Crowds are gathering for wedding ceremonies and other events. Most people everywhere are seen without masks.
