Tickets of Howrah-New Delhi train sells out in minutes
IRCTC started booking tickets for special trains from 6 pm on Monday. During this time, tickets for Howrah-Delhi train AC-1 and AC-3 were sold in only 10 minutes. Actually, earlier this booking was to start at 4 pm but the site was unable to load due to some technical issues. Due to this, ticket booking started after a delay of 2 hours.
During this time, all the tickets of AC-1 and AC-3 of Bhubaneswar-New Delhi special train were also sold till half past six in the evening. According to IRCTC, Howrah-New Delhi train will leave at 5 minutes past 5 pm on Tuesday.
The May 12 reservation of the special train on Howrah-New Delhi route was completed in a few minutes, while the May 13 reservation was filled in 20 minutes. On this route, the fare of third AC has been kept at Rs 1900, second AC Rs 2700 and first class Rs 4595.
